TRANSFERS FROM MONTENEGRO ON DEMAND WITH MH TRAVEL AGENCY
MH Travel Agency organizes transfers from Montenegro to the cities in the region up to 500 km in one direction every day the whole year long. The transfer lasts 6 for up to 10 hours depending on the distance and waiting time on the border crossing. The number of passengers is not limited and can be from one single traveler to the big groups. These transfers are private and the itineraries will be prepared for each transfer separately. Our agency has experience with this service and we will use the safest route no matter if the route is a little longer than the shortest one.
Our transfers connect the travelers from Montenegro to the most wanted locations in the region like Split in Croatia, Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Saranda (Sarandë) in Albania, Ohrid in North Macedonia, and Priština (Prishtina or Prishtinë) in Kosovo. In the description below the introduction, guests can easily choose the route, the vehicle, conditions, itinerary of the transfer, and the payment methods. Our cities where we have our transfer logistics are in Kotor, Budva, and Podgorica, but we can start from any city in Montenegro.
In addition to these transfers, we also organize transfers to standard destinations in the region (up to 250 km in one direction) such as Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Tirana (Albania), and Dubrovnik (Croatia). These are shared transfers and you can see their offer HERE.
CHOOSE THE TRANSFER ROUTE
Chosen route means that you can start from any place or city in Montenegro, and be dropped in the next cities:
Split is the center of Dalmatia and the ferry port to the popular islands like Hvar and Brač.
The transfer route will go via cities Dubrovnik, Makarska, and Omiš.
SARAJEVO (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)
Sarajevo is the capital and it is very close to the popular ski centers on the mountains Bjelašnica and Jahorina.
The transfer route will go via cities Mostar, Jablanica, and Konjic.
Saranda the southernmost city on the Albanian Riviera and the ferry port to Corfu (Greece)
The transfer route will go via cities Durres (Durrës), Kavaja (Kavajë), and Vlora (Vlorë).
OHRID (NORTH MACEDONIA)
Ohrid (Охрид) is a UNESCO World heritage and lies on Lake Ohrid the biggest lake in North Macedonia.
The transfer route will go via Albania and cities Skodra (Shkodër), Tirana (Tiranë), and Elbasan.
Pristina (Prishtina or Prishtinë) is the capital and it is very close to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
The transfer route will go via Albania and cities Skodra (Shkodër), Lesha (Lezhë District), and Prizren in Kosovo.
STEP 1: You can choose the cities on our list or someplace or city that we will pass on our route. If your chosen city closer is closer to the final destination you don't need to book the whole route but the city has to be on the route.
CHOOSE THE VEHICLE
Chosen vehicles can be standard or VIP class:
CARS up to 4 passengers
SUVs up to 5 passengers
MINIVANS up to 8 passengers
MINIBUSES up to 35 passengers
BUSES up to 55 passengers
DOUBLE BUSES up to 75 passengers.
STEP 2: When you choose the vehicle calculate that the baby seat is obligatory for kids less than 4 years. Each passenger has to have their own seat includes infants and kids.
All the vehicles are air-conditioned.
Some vehicles have Wi-Fi routers (especially minibusses and busses) but after we pass the border and we enter the roaming zone, Montenegrin mobile providers charge that service very expensive. If you have to work or have to be connected online while you will travel, try to find the best roaming service from the operators from your countries or other international providers.
NUMBER OF DRIVERS
For the cars, SUVs, and minivans the number of drivers is one.
For the minibusses, buses, and double buses the number of drivers is two, plus one escort staff from the MH Travel agency.
Passengers can bring up to two pieces of luggage per person free of charge, one is the bigger suitcase or backpack and another is the small suitcase or hand luggage. The weight of the bigger suitcase should be no more than 25 kg. You can also take a piece of small hand luggage on board with you and it must either fit on your lap or under the seat in front of you.
STEP 3: The amount of luggage is very important when booking small vehicles such as cars, SUVs, and minivans. In the case that passengers have a lot of luggage, they need to book the bigger vehicle or ask for the luggage trailer if it is possible.
CHOOSE THE ITINERARY
Departure time cannot be at night and driving overnight is not acceptable.
Guests can take from start to departure during the daytime.
MEETING AND FINISHING PLACE
Private transfers always start and finish at the guest's accommodation address.
If the vehicle cannot come (because of its size) straight to the accommodation house it will be at the closest possible location.
On every 3 hours of ride, we should make 15 minutes of break for the toilet. On 5 hours of ride, we should make the lunch break. Lunch is not obligatory but if guests want to have a lunch break they can put it in the itinerary.
STEP 4: We need to be informed If any of the passengers have certain needs like changing and feeding their baby, taking some medicine therapy, nausea problems, etc. Any request which will extend the transfer is important to be mentioned in the itinerary.
All vehicles will be detailed clean and have sanitizers. Drivers and passengers should wear facial masks all the time during the transfer.
Due to the COVID-19 infection, some countries have restrictions on the borders. Restrictions are changed very often and it is very important to check before the transfer the current restrictions on the border in the country you want to enter. In the case that you will be not allowed to enter the chosen country, the guests will be dropped back to their accommodation but the transfer payment is not refundable.
NOTE: The information above is only relevant for the 2021 season, which has been hit by an epidemic of covid-19. Every future year we will update new conditions and facilities adapted to the situation until we come out of the pandemic and start living normally as before it.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Our booking is very flexible and is based on a voucher payment model. One voucher of 100 euro is a security deposit of the amount up to 300 euros, two vouchers up to the amount of 600 euros, etc.
The voucher is valid up to the 1st of December 2023 and is not refundable after the expiration of the valid period.
After that date, we will put on sale new vouchers which will last another 2 years.
The cut-off time for confirmation of reservation is 3 days before departure. When the guests confirm the chosen term of departure they need to pay the rest of the amount. The guests will pay the difference of the price after the voucher's amount has been deducted from the full amount of the transfer.
In case of the impossibility of departure, the guest can give the voucher to another person who is interested to take the transfer, but they need to inform us about that transaction.
VISA AND RESIDENCE (TOURIST) TAX
Visitors of Montenegro holding a passport of any kind other than a Montenegrin one are subject to a daily tourist tax. The price of the tax varies depending on the municipality and goes from EUR 1 to EUR 1.50 per day per person. The city-tourist tax should be charged and provided by the hotel, a hostel, or any other accommodation you are registered at. Travel documents will be checked at border police upon leaving the country and if the tax is not paid you can be charged up to EUR 70 as a penalty fine.
In case of this problem, we can delay our itinerary up to 30 minutes and wait for you at the border car park. In case you are not able to continue the trip due to this issue transfer ticket value is not refundable.
NOTE: Schengen Visa is not required for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. Schengen Visa is required for Croatia.
Hope you will enjoy our transfer:)
