I've stayed in private rooms (I'm 68) at both Budva and Kotor hostels and found the locations in the old town really good. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms offer good value for money. But best of all for me has been the limo transfer service on to Albania which I have used twice now. The drivers are English-speaking, friendly, courteous and respectful. Their driving is conservative and safe (not always the case in southern Europe!). Pick-up is from the edge of the old towns and drop-off in Tirana is right in the centre by Skanderbeg Square. There is a return service available too. Border crossing is a breeze with the transfer. It is far and away the best method I know of to travel between Montenegro and Albania.

"Gordana and her team went above and beyond to ensure that their clients enjoyed their Big Montenegro Tour! I was there in March when the weather conditions were not cooperative. But Gordana, Lily and Tania went out of their way to make the tour happen in the safest way possible while ensuring our small group was still able to enjoy the sights and beauty of Montenegro. I cannot thank Gordana enough. Usually companies would simply decline or cancel their clients. But their dedication and positivity attitude made all the difference. We were able to taste local dishes, learn about the rich political history and enjoy the beauty of the country from a spectacular view. Gordana and her team were very friendly, approachable, informative and funny! They were very knowledgeable and passionate about their country. Their voices show true passion when talking about Montenegro.
They are a true example of what Montenegro hospitality is all about. Locals are extremely friendly and helpful. And no doubt, so is Gordana and her team. I am definitely coming back to Montenegro and will go out of my way to say hello to Gordana, Lily and Tania. Thank you!"
